# Roadmap

> How Flowlayer ships: read-only intelligence first, opt-in execution second.

## A Two-Stage Launch

Flowlayer ships in two tranches, divided by a single rule: read-only capabilities come first, and any capability that connects to a user's account to place orders or move funds is opt-in and comes second. Tranche 1 delivers most of the product's value with none of the custody risk and generates the data that makes Tranche 2 worthwhile.

## Tranche 1 — Insights

The read-only intelligence layer. It touches no user funds.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Optimized market view">
    A faster, read-only view of Polymarket's markets, with Easy and Pro modes and watchlists.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Risk-adjusted reward leaderboard">
    Reward markets ranked by reward-per-dollar after the risk score.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Transparent risk score">
    The inspectable per-market score that powers the experience.
  </Step>

  <Step title="AI orderbook, depth, and spread analytics">
    Automated detection of safe and risky setups and pricing inefficiencies, with depth and spread shown alongside.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Expected earnings estimator">
    Projected daily reward from capital, spread, and market, before commitment.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Order-placement guidance">
    Recommended placement to maximize reward score, including two-sided quoting.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Portfolio analytics and stacked-program view">
    Read-only performance across all positions, combining liquidity rewards and maker rebates.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Real-time alerts">
    Volatility spikes, fills, score drops, and approaching resolution.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Check>
  Tranche 1 is a complete product on its own: no custody, no account write access, and low liability.

## Tranche 2 — Autopilot

Opt-in execution and automation for advanced users, introduced once Polymarket's API terms and liability are fully understood. It requires connecting an account with scoped, revocable trade access.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Fast execution and advanced order types">
    Order placement and management through Flowlayer with low-latency execution and advanced order types.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Auto-exit with slippage limits">
    Automated exit before adverse moves, bounded by a slippage threshold the user sets, under clearly disclosed, revocable access.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Automated entry">
    The user defines a target risk-score range and analytics criteria; Flowlayer scans qualifying markets and opens positions automatically. Paired with auto-exit, this closes the loop into a fully automated, opt-in strategy.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Rebalancing triggers">
    Optional automated repositioning that keeps orders competitive as the midpoint moves.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Warning>
  Tranche 2 capabilities depend on what Polymarket's API permits a third party to do with a user's account. That answer gates the entire execution layer and is the most important item to resolve before building it.

## Beyond the Roadmap

Flowlayer is built to keep expanding. Additional intelligence, analytics, and automation capabilities are in active development beyond those listed here, each held to the same non-custodial standard.
